Purplecat Records is
a vinyl-only label based in North Carolina. We release recordings
only on the most righteous of formats... the polyvinyl chloride
record. In the future we will release LP's, 7" 45's, EP's
and 10" records. Purplecat will issue exclusives as well
as vinyl versions of recordings issued in other formats.
Our first release is
by Stratocruiser, a NC-based band that serves up rockin' pop
with huge hooks and dashes of psychedelia, garage and fist-pumping
rawk. Their single on Purplecat is entitled "Smell of Success"
and will be available in July of 2005. It will be issued on SEXY
red vinyl and you can order it here.
